Remote Learning Guidance

If your child is in a position where they have to self-isolate, they will be expected to continue to learn remotely. If your child is too poorly to work, please let the reception team know. Likewise, if your child is feeling better and is able to work for the remainder of their isolation period, please let reception know.

Students will be added to an Isolation Team on MS Teams.

Within the Isolation Team, students will be able to access the ‘WSC Student Check In’ app. Students can use this app to inform the school that they are online and ready to learn. It will also give them to the function to be able to request further support.

In the files section of the Isolation Team, students will find the work set for them by their teachers. Students should follow their usual school timetables and complete the work set for them in this folder. For example, if they have Maths period 1, they should complete the Maths work in that folder from 9.10 – 10.10am. At the end of each piece of work, there will be a form of diagnostic quiz so that teachers in school can gauge their understanding of the topic.

If your child does not have access to an appropriate device or internet access to do their work, or if they need support to access their remote learning please contact us urgently by emailing  helpdesk@wrennschool.org.uk and we may be able to help you.

Thank you very much for your support and if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact your child’s Year Team Manager.
